Rōzes Beauty is a beauty brand that truly believes everyone deserves to be and feel beautiful, inside and out. Traditional Eastern ingredients and modernized Western methods were used when developing their products, combining the best of both worlds with their ready-to-drink beauty tonic. Don’t just look beautiful, FEEL beautiful with Rōzes!

1. What inspired you to create Rozes Beauty?

Rōzes came into my life at a time when I really needed a win. In Spring/Summer of 2018, I was dealing with a lot of personal and professional challenges. I was struggling to find a job that allowed me to be my authentic self. Finding something that was true to me and that I was curious about was always out of the question. As a Canadian native, I was limited to only working at companies and in jobs that would provide international job security. The stress of not knowing who I was or where I would be caused a lot of stress on my body and spirit. It provoked a lot of health issues that I had once put at bay… Rōzes came to me when I was rock bottom, unfamiliar with who I was and what I wanted. It came into my life when I was considering uprooting my life here in Los Angeles, and moving back to the now unfamiliar “hometown” of Vancouver, Canada.

Rōzes Beauty was, and still is, my new light of inspiration, motivation, and passion for life. The idea for my brand really comes from a place of past experience and future exploration. It embodies my identity: my Eastern roots and Western upbringing; the search for balance amidst all that goes on in our lives. All these past experiences have led me to create the Beauty Tōnics. It led me on a journey of exploration of not only my needs but the needs that aren’t met for other women like myself. I wanted to bring more emphasis to the holistic approach of beauty and wellness, that beauty comes from the inside out. So with the help from a naturopathic doctor here in Los Angeles and traditional chinese doctor in China, I was able to create the holistic blend of innovative and Eastern-inspired ingredients you see today in my Rōzes Beauty Tōnics.

I wanted to share a new way of supplementing our diet and skincare. A way that’s not only more effective but also super convenient and tasty!

2. Can you tell us about the featured ingredients and the brand mission?

Brand mission: We believe beauty comes from a holistic balance of inner and outer health. Our brand hopes to share traditional experiences and modern discoveries with you to reveal your inner glow.  Our Beauty Tōnics are results-driven. With a team of professionals, we have created the first ready-to-drink Tōnic made with Astaxanthin, the World’s most powerful antioxidant, extracted from Freshwater Green Algae. Our ingredients are science-backed, Eastern-inspired, and clean. Each Tōnic is only 15 calories and is non-GMO, sugar, dairy, caffeine, & gluten free, and made with no preservatives or artificial flavors or colors. Please see the full list of our ingredients and the benefits for each in the picture below:

3. What is your favorite Rozes Beauty product and why?

So far, we have released one collection called the Glassy Glow collection. This line of ready-to-drink Beauty Tōnics promote smooth & supple skin, natural collagen production, ageless beauty, and further protects your skin from UV and free radical damage. They come in three light and refreshing flavors: Hibiscus Blood Orange, Ginger Lemon, and Cucumber Mint. My personal favorite is Cucumber Mint, it’s super fresh and leaves behind a cooling aftertaste!

4. What beauty essentials do you carry with you on a daily basis?

When I’m busy and on-the-go, I will have daily essentials that are versatile and that will protect my skin. I will always hydrate with my Glassy Glow Beauty Tōnic so I can nourish and protect my skin from within, SuperGoop 100% Mineral Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45 that I reapply every 2 hours, Naturopathica’s Lavender & Honey Balancing Mist to keep me the top layers of my skin hydrated and dewy throughout the day, and EltaMD UV Lip Balm Broad Spectrum SPF 31.

5. What does beauty mean to you?

Beauty means more to me that just how you look on the outside. It is a holistic balance achieved from our inner and outer wellness practices. We are most beautiful when we feel and look our best.

6. What is your morning and evening beauty routine?

For both my morning and evening beauty rituals, I make sure to have practices that better my skin, body and mind. In the morning, the first thing I like to do is read what I wrote the night before in my gratitude and reflection journal. Then I will make sure to drink one full glass of water then follow up with my outer skincare routine. For breakfast, I like to make something healthy and filling – oatmeal with nut butter, chia seeds, goji berries, fruit, and manuka honey. To complete my morning routine, I will drink one bottle of my Glassy Glow Beauty Tōnic. For my evening routine, I spoil myself a little kick if off by drinking another bottle of my Glassy Glow Beauty Tōnic. Then, I will take a shower and complete my outer skincare routine. To wind down before bed, I will write in my journal – I will reflect on the highs and lows of my day and write a few things that I am grateful for that day. Then I will either watch something on Netflix or read a book – I’m currently reading a book called “Maybe you should talk to someone” by Lori Gottlieb.

7. What’s your best beauty tip?

Beauty is a holistic practice. Your habits, diet, stress levels, and overall lifestyle play an equal role in your skin health as your topical skincare routines. Focus on both your inner and outer beauty rituals to feel and look your best.

8. What’s next for Rozes Beauty?

In 2020, we will be expanding our sales channels from online to also selling at natural food stores, spas, and work out/wellness studios. Follow @rozesbeauty and stay tuned! We also hope to create another collection of Beauty Tōnics – one for you sleeping beauties out there!
